“Sandy Smith’s experience with building high – performance teams helped us realize our potential as a group. He catalyzed a constructive process that continues and spreads further through the organization.”

Dr. Reinhold Mann, Associate Laboratory Director, Biological and Environmental Sciences, Oak Ridge National Laboratory

"Sandy Smith has the skills and training to provide a dysfunctional group with diverse backgrounds with the tools needed to begin the team building process.  Sandy has the unique ability to get to the heart of the issues and guide each individual to a better understanding of their personal interactions and contribution to the overall process."

Roger Brooksbank, MD, Regional Medical Director of Emergency Services, Team Health, Knoxville, TN.

Facilitation

Most organizations find making key decisions and then effectively communicating the need for change to be challenging. Because of job demands, key personnel often don’t have the opportunity to exchange ideas on a regular basis.

Sandy’s engaging and disarming personality and his knowledge of individual and group dynamics make him very effective as a facilitator. He studies issues at hand from all sides before the meetings begin so that he is well versed in the subjects and is prepared for what viewpoints are likely to be expressed.

During the meeting, which is often off-site, Sandy will help keep the discussion focused on the topic at hand, allowing expression of viewpoints and opinions, as long at they are productive, but moving resolutely toward a decision or point of agreement.
